This is a qualifier for the National Championship at Weston Lawns Equestrian Centre in Warwickshire from the 9th to the 11th May 2025

• The same horse must compete in both phases and may not compete in more than two classes on the same day.
• The dressage phase is run under BD rules, as well as competitor dress and tack and equipment. No whips are allowed in the dressage phase at the championships.
• The show jumping phase is run under BS rules, is timed accordingly as well as competitor dress and tack and equipment. Whips are permitted in this phase at the championships. 
• The course will consist of 8 to 12 fences
• Any faults that occur will be deducted from the marks awarded in the dressage phase. The winner is the combination with the highest score

The brand-new winter training area at NEC includes a course of portable fences on grass. It''s the perfect opportunity to educate your horse and work on technique. The fences start at 70cm and go up to 1.05cm with novice technicality. Groups of 4 at similar levels for 60 minutes; please put the height you compete at in the special requests when you book. Casual dress and the correct standard hat plus body protector. Times from the afternoon going into the evening, dependent upon numbers. 

Sue is a British Eventing Level 3 Coach. She has competed herself up to 4* Eventing and really enjoys coaching all disciplines and levels to help riders achieve their goals.

TRAINING THURSDAY (10am - 8pm)

Following your dressage test you will get verbal feedback to include development & training suggestions & your completed test sheet

• Run through any dressage test 15mins, any height SJ £35
• Run through any test  (15 mins) £25.   
• Run through tests up to BD Elementary incl FSM, BE Intermediate, all BRC & PC tests catered for (30 min slots) £40, exta £5 to add on SJ
• Freestyle Music floor plans & music preparation (see attached schedule)

ALL STAFFED - courses put up and down, encouragement given if required - all pre entry & times given

External hire by BSPS Area 1A

Non Members can enter the Show and be placed and win rosettes *

Entry Fee for all classes is £15, or make a saving of £5 by entering 3 classes for £40.

*to qualify you MUST be a member of 3 valleys riding club and attend a minimum of 2 shows (£36 per year) . Points are accumulated per show, combination with most points at end of series per class will qualify)*

1. All classes to be run under Pony Club Show Jumping rules 2024/5.
2. Correct dress should be worn
3. Hats to correct Pony Club standard must be worn at all times when mounted
4. The organisers do not accept liability for any loss or damage, injury or illness to any persons or property whatsoever.
5. The organisers have taken all precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at the event.
6. The indoor collecting ring will be limited to 8 entries prior to jump time.
7. Course Walks will be available prior to each class - times to be advertised. This will be the only opportunity to walk the course.
8. Prize Giving will take place after each class and will be mounted where possible.
9. The organisers reserve the right to alter or amend the schedule/rules at any time.
10. The judge’s decision is final.
11. Any queries/objections must be taken up within 30 minutes of the class finishing with £20 cash deposit.
12. No skipping out in the car park and please take all your rubbish home.

What to Wear:  Hats must be BE-approved specifications.  Only Skull caps will be allowed for XC. It is the rider’s responsibility to make sure that they comply with current hat & body protector rules.

Body protectors 2018 & above labels are mandatory for XC.  Air jackets can be worn over a body protector.

Flu vaccinations for all horses attending this event are expected to be up to date with annual boosters, passports must be available as spot checks will be carried out. Please be responsible and do not bring horses to the event that have coughs, etc
