RIDING A RETRAINED RACEHORSE?

Here at Northallerton Equestrian Centre we are running a league in conjunction with
RoR (Retraining of Racehorses)

You can earn points for NEC/RoR league at ANY of our competitions

* Horses must be registered with RoR (details on website)
* Aim of the Leagues – to provide accessible grass roots competition to RoR registered horses across the country and to promote retrained racehorses as sport/competition horses.
* To provide a competitive element for those who want to progress and compete at higher levels.
* To give everybody a chance of qualifying and competing at the National RoR Championship Show.
* Competition can be affiliated or unaffiliated.
* Points to be awarded by competing in dressage, show jumping and combined training. Competitors can do one discipline, two or all three.
* Points can only be collected at participating venues.

* List of participating venues available with registration, Regional Coordinators and on website.
* Competitors are responsible for collecting their own scores from the relevant show secretary.
* Points can be accumulated at any participating venue, but will only count to the Region of the competitor’s post code.
* Final scores and winners to be announced by 31st January 2016.
* All registrations via email regionalleague@ror.org.uk
* All performance sheets via email regionalleague@ror.org.uk
* All the scoring will be done independently and centrally, via regionalleague@ror.org.uk
* There will be a Regional League Score Board on the website, which will be updated every three months.
* Upon registration, competitors will receive their performance sheets along with a list of participating venues.
* Competitors are totally responsible for collecting signature from event secretary on the day of competition.
* Performance sheets to be in by the date on each sheet (every three months), for independent scoring via email regionalleague@ror.org.uk
* Coordinators do not score the sheets, your only responsibility is to send out the initial registration form when requested.
* RoR Regional Coordinators and their family members are allowed to compete.

Winners and final scores to be announced by end of January 2016
Prize for highest placed in each discipline.
Overall points winners in each region to be invited to an Awards presentation  in 2016 (date and venue tbc)
Top ten in each region qualify for National Championships at Aintree in 2016
Top dressage combination in each region qualifies for a special RoR Invitation class at Somerford Park BD Premier League show in 2016
Rosettes to top 10 in each region
